| Once the ingredients are thoroughly dried, they are ground by hand using mortar and pestle. | ![]() |

| The paste is fed through a hand-operated unit to create the individual sticks and cut into 5 or 8 inch lengths. |

| The incense sticks are then bundled by hand and given one last airing before being packaged. | ![]() |
| The bundles are packed in cardboard tubing which is then wrapped with handmade paper. Finally the tubes are sealed with an auspicious symbol using red wax. | ![]() |
